Invisible/Visible
Transforming statistics into stories that humanise the people behind the numbers

A creative research project exploring how storytelling and design can make complex social issues - like the representation of Traveller culture in the media - more visible, human, and tangible.
This practice-based research project explored how creative interventions can transform complex social issues into experiences that are more tangible and accessible. Focusing on the representation of Traveller culture in mainstream media and society, the project asked how existing research can be elevated to engage new audiences in meaningful ways. At its core was a search for narrative: how can we weave stories from statistics, humanising the people behind the numbers and giving visibility to voices that are too often overlooked?
